I bought this to use as a shower for my toddler and it works great. The long hose makes it possible to rinse him thoroughly and comes in handy when cleaning the shower.
The unit is a bit cheap for the price, so you want to handle it carefully (don't drop it onto the floor of the tub, don't let your kid pull on it...). After a year, the shower head on mine is starting to separate and it has started leaking where it attaches to the diverter valve. The valve that comes with the unit is rather cheap plastic and I did not trust it to hold my shower head, so I purchased a separate diverter, which works well.
